Does my child need a visa to enter India from Germany?



The good news is that the Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has bow announced some new guidelines to enter the country. All the new regulations for the citizens of Germany are mandatory to be followed by Germany's citizens.


An important thing to note is that Yes, a child will be required a visa if he or she wants to enter India from Germany. 

 

As we are all aware, the coronavirus pandemic has been a shocker for all of us, and the year 2020 has come up with multiple complications. Since March 2020, the world has been under a lockdown due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus, spreading rapidly. In such a case, all countries, including that of India, did become strict with-it tourism rules, regulations, and norms. Hence, with the whole pandemic situation going on, the Indian Government has become ultra-cautious about tourists entering the country. However, with the newer requirements for the international travelers out there, it Is now easy for the frontiers to open gradually and slowly. In this case, all the citizens, including Germany, will have to fill up a self-declaration form.


Here are some of the steps which the parents need to take to apply for a visa from Germany to Visit India:

 

What is a Self-Declaration form Issued by the Indian Government?

 

The Indian Self-Declaration form is considered a mandatory document that has to be filled by the international visitors traveling to India. The parents will need to submit this mandatory document at the arrival of the child. The primary aim of introducing this form is to control the COVID-19 situation and note all the visitors from Germany coming into the country and being sure that they do not possess any virus or disease. 

 

As advised, parents must start filling the application form at least 72 hours before the date of the travel as the form is lengthy and requires multiple things to be attached along with it. 

 

Although India has allowed international passengers to form very few countries to visit, Germany's passengers are allowed to enter the Indian borders. 

 

 Information Required: 

 

The self-declaration form will accept the individuals to fill in their personal information and the information related to their trip. Here are the added requirements:

 

 - A scan of the passport 

 - A valid email address

 - Payment method – You could either pay through a debit or credit card or your PayPal account. 

 

Steps Needed to be Followed:

 

The child traveling from Germany to India will mandatorily respond to all the questions on the self-declaration form. Then do a double-check and see if all the requirements have been filled or not. Lastly, attach the scanned passport and all the other relevant documents. 


At your child’s arrival, he or she will go to a medical screening that will test you for symptoms related to the COVID-19 virus. The self-declaration form will be expected to be provided either in print or in the electric device. Either they would be asked to stay in the quarantine center or they would be asked to quarantine at home, depending on the situation.
